Seems the entire Bollywood has come to the field to support India's traditional game of Kabaddi. The Pro Kabaddi League that started on last Saturday has so far witnessed the presence of big Bollywood stars which include Amitabh Bachchan, Amir Khan, Shahrukh Khan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan etc.
Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar was also spotted
during the tournament along with Farah Khan, Teena Ambani, Kabir
The Pro Kabaddi League is having teams from eight
cities. Abhishek Bachchan owns Jaipur
Pink Panthers. The entire
Bachchan clan including Amitabh Bachchan, wife Jaya Bachchan and
daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai Bachchan were seen cheering for
Abhishek's Kabaddi team.
Amitabh, who posted a photo at the launch with the Khans, also
thanked them and others, who marked their presence.
"Grateful to all the
stars and friends that came out in support - Shah Rukh and Sachin and
Aamir, and so many others ... and a blast we had, cheering this very
Indian sport ... an occasion a first for India and the game ... great
fun ..." said Amitabh in his official blog.
He added, "I do hope
that we continue to play it the way it has been designed, with all
the prominent corporate coming in and many celebrities joining the
gang ... !!"
