Two teams, Puneri Paltan and Telugu Titans have been a major disappointment in the ongoing Pro Kabaddi League, which has been a huge success so far. Both these teams are scheduled to fight it out later tonight at Boxing Arena, Belwadi Sports Complex in Pune.
Paltan is the lowest placed team in the competition so far with eight
points only. They have lost five out of the six matches played so far
in the competition. The story for Telugu Titans is also no different,
where they have lost four out of the six matches played and has won
one and also drawn one. Both these teams are not so weak as the
standings table suggests so, but they have been unlucky on several
front as well.
a miracle would allow either of the team to progress in the knock-out
phase of the competition, for the teams in the top half look super
strong and look strong challengers for the title.
with players such as Rajaguru, Irfan Khan, Sukesh Hedge, Telugu
Titans have the required players to deliver from the front, but
unfortunately, it is not happening. May be, it is time for them to
change their game plan as well. It is here, where their coach J
Udayakumar comes into play. Will he change his game plan?
as far as Puneri Paltan side goes, they will pin their hopes on Wazir
Singh, their skipper as well as their foreign export, Simon Maina
Kinura to help them cross the finishing line. But, other players such
as Praveen Niwale, Nitin More also need to step up up their game.
