To see the God within you can be done by closing your eyes and seeing the Almighty within you through any religion, caste or creed. Facing truth can be done through any religion.
OUR INDIAN culture gives a message of humanity and tolerance. It is said that “Ekam Sat Vipra Bahudha Vadanti” which means that all the ways of worship eventually take us to the ultimate truth in life. There are many people of the Western origin, who worked throughout their life to serve the Indian culture. They were immensely influenced by the life and lessons of Swami Vivekananda. For example, Ireland-based Margaret Noble got so much impressed by Swami Vivekananda that she changed her Christian religion and adopted the Hindu religion. She even changed her name to Bhagini Nivedita.
She imparted religious speeches on the Indian scriptures like, Vedas and Geeta. She was greatly impressed by the essence of Indian scriptures, and thought that the truthful religion can be seen with any prayer. To see the God within you can be done by closing your eyes and seeing the Almighty within you through any religion, caste or creed. Facing truth can be done through any religion. The only thing is that you have to have a strong faith within you. Just like rivers flow from various places, but finally they submerge in the ocean and obtain the depth to attain salvation.
Similarly, no matter what you are and what exactly is your religion, you eventually submerge in the Almighty and get fully free from this material world. Nivedita always focused her attention on the fact that the provision of all round service to the society in all respects, which is the nucleus point of the Sanatan religion of the Indians, can provide peace and humanity to the whole world.
