Provision for electricity and water supply at Barmeen, J&K
A public meeting was held at Barmeen under the chairmanship of Krishan Chander Bhagat, MLA from Chenani Ghordhi Constituency, Udhampur, Jammu and Kashmir.

He listened to the demands projected by village Barmeen and its surroundings which include Black Topping of Barmeen Road, water tank in Schedule Caste Mohalla in lower Barmeen Electric Poles for Slay Moda, Sheep Sub Centre, up-gradation of Middle School Gadayal to High School and Block (Development) be got sanctioned for Barmeen. Besides many other demands.

Besides prominent workers Sarpanch Karan Dev Singh Panchayat Hartaryan, Sarpnach upper Barmeen Ram Lal, Om Parkash Sarpanch lower Barmeen, Rattan Chand Sarpanch, Des Raj ji Block Presidnet (Congress) Gordhi, Ashok Kumar Naib Sarpanch Hartaryan, Yousif Khan Chariman lower Barmeen.

On the demand of the people and sarpanch of that area i.e Hartaryan 25 electric cement poles worth Rs. 2.5 Lakh for W.No. 3 were sanctioned for upper Barmeen 20 Nos. steel poles worth Rs. 3.25 Lakh were also sanctioned assured for lower Barmeen 20 Nos cement poles and 5 Nos. Steel poles worth Rs. 2.75 Lacs were also sanctioned announced. Besides Rs. 50,000/- (fifty thousands) were also announced for water tank in Morha Andhra of Panchayat Hartaryan.

At the end Krishan Chander Bhagat assured the participants that their demands would be taken up with the quarter concerned and solved at an earliest. He also asked the participants to strengthen the congress party which is the only party which can solved our problems. The participants assured the MLA that they would fully support the congress candidate in the coming elections for MP & Assembly elections.
