JAGAN MOHAN REDDY  being the son of late popular Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh YS Rajasekhar Reddy is in news ever since the helicopter crash on October 2 that ended the career of a popular chief minister.

Even before the final rites of the departed soul were completed, so-called supporters of Jagan launched a campaign in support of the young scion to have him installed as the next chief minister. This move in reality was more to save and further their personal interests as appointment of Jagan would have ensured that they held on to thier lucarative posts and deals,

A signature campaign was launched by the MLAs to impress the High Command of the party that there is no choice except to make him as the Chief Minister.

Although Rosaiah was sworn-in as the CM at the behest of the Congress High Command but the Jagan camp prevented his effective functioning with majority of ministers in the Cabinet not attending to regular duties in the hope of replacing him.

The demand to remove Rosaiha and make Jagan as the Chief Minister is nothing but sycophancy and dynastic politics brought into play by the group supporting Reddy .

The days of Kings has gone long, but the political masters want that these traditions should continue which is inimical to democracy. Jagan has a long way to go to become mature a mature and seasoned poltician to handle such a large state where many regional conflicts are at play.
