PT Usha breaks down on being humiliated in Bhopal
Former Indian Athlete, PT Usha, who was with her team as a coach, was asked to share her room wth five other team members. She added that she was invited for the event but she was not provided a room for her accommodation.
PT USHA, the sprint queen of India, broke down after she was not given proper accomodation at the 49th National Athletics Meet in Bhopal. Former Indian Athlete, who was with her team as a coach, was asked to share her room wth five other team members. On asking for a better accomodation, she was reportedly refused by the officials, which made PT Usha break down into tears, in front of the media.
A humiliated PT Usha said that she had no where where she would go now. She added that she was invited for the event but she was not provided a room for her accommodation. A crying PT Usha said, "Mr Gill is here and I have three-four girls with me." The only problem she had was that she had no clue whatever about where they would go now.
The incident has come as a huge shock to the whole nation that is preparing itself for the mega event like the Commonwealth Games. Even in the past, many such incidents have taken place, raising a question mark regarding the accomodation and facilities provided to sportsperson to better their achievements.Recently, World Boxing Champion MC Mary Kom also complained of the below par accomodation and the food during the National Boxing Championships.
Madhya Pradesh Government has asked the Sports director to look into the incident and submit a detailed report about this incident.

.Good or bad behaviour is something inherent to that person. It is also dependent upon how that person is brought up from childhood till adult. .Even if somebody is neta or higher official, you just cannot help them. He will insult to everybody be it famous personality and Olympian like PT Usha or common man. Atleast a lesson should be learnt from Bharat Ratna APJ Abdul Kalam.
