JAI NARAIN Vyas University announced results for the 2009 Pre Teachers Entrance Test (PTET) last night. July 8. The first list contained the names of 74,260 candidates. Those candidates who have passed have been requested to deposit the stated amount with the Bank of Baroda any time between July 9 and July 15 in order to take the procedure to the next stage. The rest of the fees will be paid subsequent to seat allocation by the college. The college will undertake allotments on 27 July 2009.
Jai Narain Vyas University, a residential university was set up in Jodhpur back in 1962 when it was known as University of Jodhpur. Currently, the university consists of four Jodhpur-bases colleges. The University was received university recognition from the Universities Grant Commission in the year of its founding. The University was founded by India's first President, Dr S Radhakrishnan.
