Public flays and court admits a complaint against Asaram Bapu
A complaint was filed Wednesday by advocate Sudhir Kumar Ojha against god-man Asaram Bapu, in a district court at Muzaffarpur in Bihar in connection with his remarks on the Delhi gang rape incident.
REACTING TO the comments of Asaram Bapu on the gang rape incident, Isha Foundation head Jaggi Vasudev said that such inane comments and archaic opinions without the necessary sense should not derail the focus and the significance of an organised movement in which people participated out of their own will to voice their indignation towards the heinous crime.
Sensing the uprising public rage on his comments, Bapu has tendered an apology, saying, "How can I blame the girl for the rape? I am not that cruel. If I have done something wrong, I will apologise a thousand times."
