TWO TEAMS Deccan Chargers and Pune Warriors, whose dream for a place in last four in the Indian Premier League 2011 is already shattered, are meeting this evening at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in Hyderabad in the 53rd match of the IPL today. Both teams have played 10 matches each and have only six points.

Deccan Chargers, who won the Indian Premier League in 2009 and reached in the semifinal in 2010, have won only three matches in the current edition of the IPL against Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kings XI Punjab and Delhi Daredevils and stands at ninth spot in the point table.

Deccan Chargers have a number of good T20 players in the squad, but except one or two players none of them have performed well in the ongoing tournament. Deccan Chargers is one of the most inconsistent teams in the IPL 2011.

Yuvraj Singh-led Pune Warriors India, which  won first two matches of IPL against Kings XI Punjab and Kochi Tuskers Kerala, finally registered a victory after seven consecutive losses in the Indian Premier League 2011, in the last match against Kings XI Punjab.

In a pre - match interview before the Deccan's match, Pune captain Yuvraj Singh said that he can't imagine how Pune Warriors lost so many games despite having huge talent.

Pune has some good cricketers who can score or can take wickets for the team, such as captain Yuvraj Singh, opener Jesse Ryder, Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Callum Ferguson, Nathan McCullum, Tim Paine and Wayne Parnell.
