SKYWALTZ, INDIA’S foremost hot air balloon company permitted by the Central Government, added a plume to its cap by organizing the Pushkar Balloon Festival for a second time during the Pushkar Fair from 7th Nov to 9th Nov. Fifteen international teams participated in the festival with Team India led by the Skywaltz group. The festival chased an appealing schedule that allowed the teams to travel around the Golden Triangle.

Leo Burman, the pilot of the Canadian team expressed his ideas: “I found India a really exotic place with a very colorful culture. The Pushkar was a gorgeous place to fly above in the balloons. I can always call it a really unique experience.”

Remarking on his alliance with the Pushkar Camel Fair, Samit Garg, CEO, SkyWaltz said: "We approached the Rajasthan Tourism Board with the unique concept of holding a balloon festival within the Pushkar fair to add a new dimension to the event. Thus, post a tender process; we were awarded the mandate to manage the balloon festival. The balloon flight took place twice on each day. As new initiatives, this year we had musical infusions at the balloon flights and special night glow balloons. On the last day, we lit 1,000 sky lanterns and set them free in the air."

"Since we had organized a series of balloon safaris, we have been able to generate a lot of enthusiasm amongst balloon pilots across the world. Out of the 40 entries we received, we managed to shortlist 20 pilots to be part of the Pushkar Balloon Festival 2011,"he added.

Those who have attended the exclusive event in the land of countless festivals said that they experienced an extraordinary hot air balloon flight trip.
