PVR expands wings, reaches Chhattisgarh

A well know entertainer in metro cities and a trail blazer in setting up a trend of multiplexes, PVR has now spread its wings to other cities as well. Making its debut in Bilaspur by launching multiplex in city's first centrally located mall, PVR has given a reason to city's movie lovers to experience the new and international cinematic wave.

PVR LTD., a leading retail entertainment company based in Gurgaon, last week announced the opening of its first multiplex at Rama Magneto mall in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh. With this launch, PVR now has eight screens and two multiplexes in two key cities of Chhattisgarh, including four screens and 1212 seats in Raipur.

The multiplex is spread over an area of 27,821 sq ft. with a capacity of 792 seats and will provide an exceptional digital movie experience to the cine-goers and movie-lovers of the city at prices ranging from Rs 70 – Rs 160. With this launch, PVR stands at 188 screens in 43 cinemas in 13 states and 26 cities across the country.

Bilaspur, the second largest city of Chhattisgarh, is also referred to as the legal city. PVR in Bilaspur is designed on contemporary lines articulating the foyer by ambient lighting and focusing on the concessions and kiosks offering exclusive gourmet. The cinema also boasts of star class, prime class and recliner seating arrangement for the comfort of audience.
