Queen's Baton Relay being covered by Marwah Studios for 100 days
Its an opportunity to serve the nation by covering Queen's Baton Relay for 100 days by the students of Asian School of Media Studies said Marwah
THE QUEEN'S Baton Relay which was received at Wagah Border by Indians from Pakistan has already traveled a long distance from north to south, a journey of 68 days which will be completing 100 days when it is back at Delhi for final games.
 
The relay is an every day event and is spreading a great enthusiasm and excitement whereever the torch is touching base. The whole day’s events are covered by the professional Multi Media team of Marwah Studios. The team of Marwah Studios is busy in recording 8 to 10 hours of every day’s events, which is edited to 3 minutes coverage so that it can be relayed to the World Press.
 
“I am proud to say that our students of Asian School Of Media Studies have done a commendable job by arranging and rearranging equipments, man power to cover this biggest International event of the country” said Sandeep Marwah president of Marwah Studios and Director of ASMS.
 
The Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi commenced from Buckingham Palace, London, on the 29 October 2009. The baton has travelled through all other 70 Commonwealth nations – a historic journey that has covered a distance of more than 170,000 kilometers in 240 days.
 
On its 100 day national tour, the baton will visit the capital of each of India’s 28 states and seven union territories, plus many other cities along the way, covering more than 20,000 kilometers. By the end of its journey, the baton will have traversed over 190,000 kilometers in 340 days, making the Queen’s Baton Relay 2010 Delhi one of the longest relays in the history of the Commonwealth Games.
