Race 2 film ranks as just below average comapred to Race

The first thing when a sequel is out, people compare it with the first one, and this is what affects Race 2. Like Race, Race 2 also has suspense - the only difference is that in the sequel, after every 20 to 30 mins, some suspense is revealed unlike Race in which all the suspense was revealed at the end.

I saw the film Race2, and it has a very good first half, where the director makes his audience to think the twists are incredible, and the interval scene will reveal the first biggest twist of the movie.

But something stopped the audience from connecting to Race 2 in the second half. The second half is affected mainly because of the climax, which could have been better.

Saif has a very intense look, his acting is too good. John, as usual, fails, and the only good thing about John in the movie is action scenes. Anil Kapoor is the same like he was in the first one. Deepika again sizzles with her looks. Jacqline was quite okay. Amisha Patel has made a fool of herself.

The songs are good but the background score is not upto expecations. The direction of the Abbas Mustan duo is quite good, the climax is one place where their direction could have been better. Watch Race 2 if you love racing. Watch it for some good action, watch it for Deepika - but if you expect something more from Race 2 just avoid it.
