Rafael Mascarenhas dead after being struck by a car

Rafael Mascarenhas, son of Brazilian actress Cissa Guimaraes died today after being struck by a car. According to a leading website, Rafael was skateboarding with his friends over at Zuzu Angel when he met with an accident.

Rafael received severe injuries in the chest, head, abdomen, skull, arms and legs due to which he was rushed immediately to the hospital. he underwent surgery and the doctors tried their best but all in vain. Rafael Mascarenhas died at around 8pm.

Brazilian authorities are investigating the case to see whose fault was it and are also reviewing the surveillance tapes from the scene. Rafael will be cremated tomorrow on Rio de Janerio's Memorial do Carmo.

Cissa Guimaraes has shattered and is reportedly in a very bad state. She is currently at her home under the effects of sedatives to her go through such times.
