RAFAEL NADAL, the real superstar of Roland Garros, King of Clay, once again crowned the feather of French Open this year. Rafael Nadal beat Sweden's Robin Soderling by 6-4 6-2 6-4 in two hours 18 minutes on Sunday June 6 at Court Philippe Chatrier to win the French Open title for the fifth time in six years. He also took the world’s number one spot from Roger Federer.


Rafael Nadal won fifth French Open title since 2005. Only in 2009, he missed the title of second Grand Slam tournament of the year. His only defeat ever at the French Open came last year in the fourth round to this year finalist Robin Soderling. Rafael Nadal record at Roland Garros is now 38-1. This victory put him second, one behind Swedish Bjorn Borg and Mats Wilander on the all-time list of French Open winners.

Rafael Nadal won first set against Sweden's Robin Soderling in 55 minutes, while second set won just in 39 minutes. In the third set he took 44 minutes to clinch the French Open 2010 title. The highlights of the Spain's tennis star Rafael Nadal, he didn't miss even a single set in this year at Rolland Garros. It was Nadal's seventh Grand Slam.
 
On Saturday in French Open Women's single, 17th seeded Francesca Schiavone of Italy defeated Australian seventh seeded Samantha Stosur by 6-4, 7-6(7-2). In the Men's double, second seeded Daniel Nestor of Canada and Nenad Zimonjic of Serbia won against third seeded Indian - Czech Republic pair Leander Paes and Lukas Dlouhy by 7-5, 6-2 at Court Philippe Chatrier.
