Rahul Dravid, the wall of Indian cricket, defends Virat Kohli's performance in Word Cup
Off late the Indian vice-captain and the star batsman Virat Kohli has become a target of severe criticism owing to his not so sparkling recent performance in the World Cup. He was seen as a back-bone of team India's batting strength but sadly he could not bail out his team who lost in the semi against mighty Australia.

Many of the writers had described his failure due to a distracted focus with the presence of Anushka Sharma. However his former team mate Yuvraj Singh has defended Kohli.

But more importantly, former Indian captain and batting legend, Rahul Dravid, the wall, has underlined the contribution made by Virat Kohli, especially during the test series against Australia. Ruling out the unnecessary criticism, Dravid pointed out that barring just one slip, Virat Kohli has been sensational down under.

As reported by ibnlive.com, Dravid has said that in his opinion no other Indian batsman played as well as Virat Kohli in the Test matches in Australia.

Reacting to India's defeat in the semifinals against Australia, Dravid said he was disappointed at India's exit. he added that two best teams reached the final.

It is heartening to see that great Rahul Dravid has rightfully reminded the fans of the substantial contributions made by Virat Kohli. Hopefully he will give us many more glorious performances in future.
