Rahul should join the Cabinet
Rahul?s pan Indian vision is above the caste, communal or regional agenda and will be a big plus point if he chooses to serve the people as a minister. His commitment to good governance is also a big asset.

THE 38-year-old Rahul Gandhi is dithering over whether to join the Cabinet or not. He is in a unique position as the son of the Congress President Sonia Gandhi and carries the Nehru family tag. He believes in clean politics, has less tolerance for corrupt political leaders and, above all. he has a focus on the common issues facing the citizens and the nation. He has a genuine aspiration to ensure that the fruits of development actually reach the rural areas and fulfil the cherished vision of his late father Rajiv Gandhi.

He represents the impatient youth face of the nation. For those who say he is too young to be a Cabinet minister, look around you and you will find that many in the civil services and industry sector including the IT sector, are of his age group, are delivering more than the more experienced and hence are preferred over the experienced. His age is sufficient to take up any Cabinet post. His commitment to good governance is also his big plus point.

His pan Indian vision is above the caste, communal or regional agenda and will be a big plus point if he chooses to serve the people as a minister. Dr Manmohan Singh as the Prime Minister with impeccable credentials with Rahul Gandhi in the Cabinet can inspire the other ministers as well the administration to deliver good performance so that the real development of the nation and the citizens picks up speed.

There must be a competition among the political leaders to serve the nation and people, and not a competition to abuse the power for their own benefit. Rahul Gandhi can create such a competition by acting in a responsible way. He can act with a free hand and perform well in any ministry because he is committed to the development and surely against the divide India is facing within its ranks.

If people like Rahul Gandhi refuse to be part of the government and prefer to sit on the sidelines, then good governance truly suffers. India had enough of bad governance which has resulted in the creation of islands of wealth amidst vast oceans of poverty.

.Rahul wont be a minister ever and 5-10 years down the line, he will be prime minister, he knows that entire country knows this. Why the hell he would ruin his chance and give opposition any ammunition to pin point him. Running a ministry is never easy. He wont take this risk and rather working as Party's Gen Secy and after some time, he will become PM. He is clever, his dynasty is clever, can any one think that any Gandhi family has become minister. They only become PM or Chairperson, either of powerful seats. Dantu ji ye politics hai app nahin samjhenge
.Why should he become a minister when the whole government machinery lay at his feet even he was a nonentity? As long as the dynasty system is not wiped out from the country, even his brother in law Robert will get better treatment than most other ministers!

you need to judge a person on his ability to deliver and not on the basis of dynastic politics. As long as he has a commitment to serve the nation, we must welcome the youth to enter to cleanse the politics.
.The necessity of Indian National is that dynamic leader with strong command on politics and who wants to do some thing special for the country like Rahul Gandhi must join the cabinet. As a Minister he can watch the interest of indians
.Rahul must take responsibility into his hands. We all know he will be a first time Minister, so what? To have Good governnace of a system operation , it needs full proof zero defect system, which is not there at present in the Government of India. So it needs fine tunning of the system. Rahul being first time Minister can immediately spot those leakage that needs rectification. I think other Minister in Congress are scared to point out the same so they want Rahul to be in the cabinet so that none can challenge, rule out Rahul. Thats where Rahul is hasitateing. Any broad mind professionally educated person can points those areas. Even I being an IIT engineer, MBA from Juran Institute of Quality Management and Law Graduate from ILS , Pune do so. But then I should I? Indian Laws are very good, however it need to be a little leak proof or reactive. In fact the IAS officers attached to different ministry knows it but then why should they do it? It is the citizen like me and you will do on time to time basis.
