Rains, floods and landslides in Arunachal Pradesh disrupt normal life
Heavy rains in Tenga and Rupa valleys areas of Arunachal Pradesh have caused flooding rivers and nallahs causing landslides, washing away of the bridges and landslides.

Heavy rains and floods have caused the landslides in Kaspi and Nag Mandir area near Tenga Valley. The bridge has been washed away and landslides have blocked the roads along with damage to the property and some people are reported to be missing, informed FBF Kamal Chhetry, ex-student of KV Tenga Valley.

This in the common fate of the NE states this time that many areas are reeling under worst floods this rainy season. The two states of Northeast India, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh are the worst hit due to the monsoon floods causing deaths, displacements and disruption of normal life.

It is being reported that the flash floods have wreaked havoc in whole of West Kameng district and incessant rains caused landslides in several areas along Orang to Rupa-Tenga road. Not only the loss of property and life has occurred but hundreds of vehicles have got stranded waiting for help and rescue.
