Mohan Bhagwat, the RSS chief has a history of inflammatory speeches that are aimed at creating enmity between various religious groups. I will talk about his latest comment on marriage where he commented that marriage is nothing more than a contract between male and female and one should abide by this contract. That is quite true, we can understand that but problem is more with his second statement where he opined that if wife is not abiding by the contract one is free to leave her and vice versa. This is really ridiculous comment and we as a nation should oppose such persons.
There is no need to discuss much about political agenda of Raj Thackeray. His political party survives only because of hate politics, he doesn’t know anything else except hatred. He is one such politician who must have been behind the bars long ago. But we have to live as per our system which is allowing such politicians to groom in the country without much concern. They know that if you are a politician then nobody is going to touch you. Whatever leaders of other political parties are saying in public domain that is just for public and not for real. It is really unfortunate that people like Raj Thackeray are running our country and we are unable to do anything.
Thackeray made statements in public meetings without proper proofs and spew venom against a particular state of our country. And above all, one of his party man, lend support to his views on one a national news channel. This MNS leader even went further and said most of the crimes in different states are done by migrant workers of Bihar and UP. I am challenging him to check the data of National Crime Record Bureau before commenting on such important subject of crime against women.
In my previous post on this portal, “Crime against women is a shame on our society”, I had presented a few records from NCRB data. I would like to know from the leaders of MNS; out of those crimes reported by Maharashtra Police, how many crimes have been committed by migrants of UP and Bihar. I have few questions to ask of all these politicians.
- Is India really a single nation?
- Are we living in a free country?
- Do you think India as a whole or divided in different parts on the basis of religion, caste, language and areas?
- Are you public servants or rulers?
- What do you think about the freedom of speech?
- Do you have any knowledge about our constitution?
- What is your say about real problems of people?
- Do our problems really bother you?
These are few questions; we need real answers and not political maneuvering. No party in India is really good whether it is Congress, BJP or any other regional party. All of them are same and the problem is that we have to select bad guys among a lot of worst guys.
