Rajeev Chandrasekhar MP (Rajya Sabha) pledges support for Hazare
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Member of Parliament, met Anna Hazare this morning and extended his support and solidarity to his leadership to help formulate the Lokpal bill and fight against the rot in government.
Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Member of Parliament, Independent (Rajya Sabha),
met Anna Hazare this morning and extended his support and solidarity to his leadership of the Lok Pal bill and fight against the rot in government.

Chandrasekhar while pledging his support said, “Anna Hazare has fought for the country in the ’65 war and he is now taking the leadership and fighting the biggest enemy that India has today - political and bureaucratic corruption."

The Member of Parliament added, “Just like there are revolutions all around the world sweeping corrupt leaders out of the country, Anna Hazare is our leader and this is our revolution to give ourselves the India that our founding fathers had always dreamt of."

Just as the country stood by Hazare in 1965 when he fought enemies, Chandrasekhar has urged all Indians to support him in his fight for the Jan Lokpal Bill, and give ourselves a system that we deserve.

Social activist Anna Hazare went on a fast-unto-death from April 5 to protest against corruption in the country. He along with other activists and hundreds of supporters are demanding that the union government start formulating a Jan Lokpal Bill in consultation with representatives from civil society.
