Soundarya Rajinikanth, the younger daughter of Tamil superstar Rajnikanth get engaged with Ashwin Kumar, son of a real estate tycoon, Ram Kumar in Chennai.

SOUNDARYA RAJINIKANTH, the younger daughter of Tamil superstar Rajnikanth got engaged to Ashwin Kumar, son of a real estate tycoon, Ram Kumar in Chennai. Engagement ceremony of Rajinikanth's younger daughter Soundarya Rajinikanth took place at a hotel in Chennai on February 17, 2010.

During the ceremony Soundarya exchanged rings with groom Ashwin Ramkumar. RajiniKanth personally invited Chief Minister Karunanidhi and AIADMK General Secretary Jayalalitha for the engagement ceremony. Many VVIPs like film stars, businessmen, politicians were also present during the ceremony.

Soundarya Rajinikanth has recently entered film production and is currently directing an animation movie ‘Sultan – the warrior’ in which her father and Tamil superstar Rajnikant is featuring. Ashwin Ramkumar has completed his master’s degree from the Stanford University in USA and now works with his father in the family’s construction business.
