Prakash Jha's political potboiler Rajneeti has hit the jackpot at the Box office and set the cash registers ringing as the public is lapping up the modern day Mahabharata saga of the powerful Pratap family.

Trade analysts have already given a thumbs up to Rajneeti and described it as super hit with the occupancy rate for film being 90 to 95 per cent across the country. Rajneeti takes its inspiration from the epic Mahabharata and it almost manages to capture the ethos of India politics in its totality. The film has a powerful cast which has delivered the goods, which is proved by the fact that both critics, viewers as well as trade pundits have applauded the political drama portrayed by Rajneeti.
