Happy Birthday Rajnikanth.

Today, Superstar Rajnikanth is celebrating his 60^th birthday. Born on December 12, 1949 words just don’t describe Rajnikanth. Rajnikanth has thousands of fans not only in India but worldwide. Apart from acting, Rajnikanth has also worked as a screenwriter, film producer and playback singer.

His real name is Shivaji Rao Gaekwad. Rajnikanth was named as one of the most influential persons in South Asia by Asia week. In 1984 he had won the Filmfare Best Tamil Actor award for his film Nallavanuku Nallavan. Aslo in 1994 he won the award for his film Muthu. Rajniknath was even honoured with the Padma Bhushan Award.

Rajni, at the age of 31 married Latha Rangachari on February 26, 1981 in Tirupati, Andhra Pradesh. The couple has two daughters named Aishwarya and Soundaraya.

Recently the Superstar Rajnikanth said that he loved watching his friend Amitabh Bachchan on screen in Paa. He added that the film will be the talk on the town and he just loved the performance of Auro. The actor will very soon be calling up Big B and congratulate him for his outstanding performance.

Rajni also mentioned that he was eager for a Tamil remake of Paa. Rajni might play the role of Auro and it surely would be a treat to watch.
