Ram Navami celebrated with religious gaiety
Thousands of people standing on both sides of the road greeted the Rath Yatra showering flowers. A lot of enthusiasm was witnessed among the devotees participating in the Rath Yatra. The procession, was organized by Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust

THE INCARNATION day of Bhagwan Shri Ram, the Ram Navami was celebrated with great enthusiasm, religious fervour and gaiety by J&K Dharmarth Trust Council, which manages over 108 temples all over the Jammu region. It had tastefully decorated these temples and shrines to match the occasion. People thronged these temples and shrines to pay obeisance to Lord Ram, Lakshman and Sita Ji throughout the day.

Heavy rush of devotees was witnessed at the historical Shri Raghunath Ji Temple at Jammu where people made long queues to participate in pooja and other holy rituals organized by the Trust.

Later in the evening, a religious procession “The Shobha Yatra” of Bhagwan Shri Ram Ji, Lakshman Ji and Sita Ji was taken out from Shri Raghunathji Temple via Raghunath Bazaar, City Chowk, Purani Mandi, Link Road, Jain Bazar, Dhounthly Bazaar, Panjtirthi, Mubarakmandi, Chowk Chabutra, Pacca Danga, Moti Bazaar, Raj Tilak Road, Purani Mandi, City Chowk and back to Shri Raghunath Ji Temple. Over one lakh devotees comprising prominent, citizens, politicians and heads of religious organisations participated in the Shobha Yatra.

The procession, was organised by Jammu and Kashmir Dharmarth Trust and led by J&K Dharmarth Trust, President, Th. Divakar Singh Ji, Secretary Ms Vijay Gandotra and all senior officer of the Trust, joined the Shobha Yatra. Various heads of the non Hindu organizations also accorded a rousing reception to Shobha Yatra at all places enroute.

Several philanthropic persons and social and religious organizations had opened stalls selling edibles. Gates and banners of welcome were made at several places. Young and old persons enthusiastically recited keertan in the Shobha Yatra.

Dharmarth Ttust had made elaborate arrangements of conducting Pooja, Hawans and religious discourses on Lord Ram’s life and Ramayana at the temple.

Earlier, before commencement of the Shobha Yatra, special pooja was performed by MK Ajastshatru Singh Ji, (MLC) Trustee, J&K Dharmarth Trust at Raghunath Ji Temple, Jammu. Several prominent people also joined the Shobha Yatra procession.

.All the pujaris of Raghunath Mandir,Jammu are dodging money from the devotees.If you will not give some money to the temple pujaris they will treat you with threating.I don't know what the trustee's are doing in that trust.Why they are not aware in that context ?
