Ramazan to start from Saturday in Saudi Arabia
According to a report of Al Arabiya English, Saudi Arabia's Supreme Court announced on Thursday that the holy month of Ramazan would being from Saturday, May 27.

The website reported, "On Thursday, Saudi was not able to sight Ramazan's crescent. It is expected that Ramazan will start on Saturday."

According to another report of Al Jazeera, the holy month of Ramazan will begin on the eve of Friday, May 26 or Saturday, May 27 in Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Kuwait and Ghana.

Qatar, Lebanon and the UAE have also announced that since they had been unable to sight the moon on Thursday, they might sight it on Friday. In the meanwhile, the moon had also not been sighted in Iraq.

Ramazan would be observed in India, Egypt, Jordan, Turkey, Oman, South Africa and Nigeria on the eve of Saturday, May 27 or Sunday, May 28, depending on the sighting of the moon on Friday, May 26.

However, Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has predicted that the crescent moon shall be visible on May 27, Saturday and the first day of the holy month shall begin from Sunday, May 28.
