Rambo meets Tiger aka Baaghi
Tiger Shroff is reportedly to be seen playing the cult celluloid character made famous by Sylvester aka 'Sly' Stallone in the east meets west rendition of 1980s Hollywood classic, Rambo.

In the Bollywood remake of 80s punch packed action flick, Rambo, Tiger Shroff, currently industry's resident fitness figure is beefing up to play the iconoclastic hero John Rambo. 

The first look for the much-anticipated action-drama has in the meantime been revealed to the audience with momentous excitement among Shroff's fans. The first static teaser-poster has Shroff photographed in a Rambo-like get up where he's seen with almost curious physical similarities to Stallone in the original.

Veteran actor Sylvester Stallone has also reacted to the news on his Instagram handle where he wrote, "I read recently they are remaking Rambo in India! Great character, hope they don't wreck it." 

If reports are to be believed, Bollywood's remake will have very certain changes in the character graph and storyline where lead Tiger Shroff will be seen playing the last living member of a very elite covert operations unit belonging to the Indian armed forces. The forthcoming remake will be directed by Siddharth Anand who also directed the 2014 film 'Bang Bang', a remake of Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz starrer 'Knight and Day'.

Tiger Shroff shared the static poster on via his Twitter handle with the caption, "Grew up on this character, humbled and blessed to step into his shoes years later. #RamboRemake." As the storyline suggests, Shroff's character returns home to find a war ripping his beloved country apart which leads him to the dangerous and frigid terrains of the Himalayas where he does what he was trained to do, wreak havoc. 

The project is being produced by a slew of producers including Daljit DJ Parmar, Samir Gupta, Hunt Lowry, Saurabh Gupta and Gulzar Inder Chahal. M! Capital Ventures, Original Entertainment, Impact Films and Siddharth Anand Pictures. The film is eyeing a 2018 release.
