Rapist at large in Gurgaon: Call police if you see him!
In a unique move Gurgaon Traffic Police has released a public notice and warning about a man, who is a alleged rapist and on the run. The police has released a photo of the accused on Facebook with an appeal that if anybody has any knowledge of his whereabouts they should reach to the police.

The accused named Piyush, has been charged under IPC section 254, 376, 406, 506 on 28 July 2013 by the at DLF Sector 29 police. Still at large, pictures of the man are doing the rounds on social networking medium so that maximum information can be gathered on his whereabouts.

In case, anyone identifies the man below, they can ring on 9999981807, 9999981804 or 9999981822. The police would keep the identity of the caller hidden and if the information is helpful, then they would also be rewarded by the police.

Number of vehicles challaned in Gurgaon for violating traffic rules

On February 24, 1242 vehicles were challaned by the traffic police. Of the total, 53 vehicles were fined for violation of lane driving, 25 vehicles were towed by crane for wrong parking, 89 for red light jump, 18 for without reflector, 76 for wrong side driving, 50 for the violation of No Entry, 102 for wrong parking, 88 for not wearing helmet, 79 for not wearing seat belt, 524 against auto rickshaw drivers and rest were for others.

Awareness Program organised at Shanker Chowk 

An awareness program was organised at Shanker Chowk, NH-8 in Gurgaon to spread the message of importance of Safety and value of Active commuters. Gurgaon's Joint Commissioner of Police Bharti Arora along with the officials of NASSCOM and CEO of Rapid Metro attended this drive. 

In this drive, spread messages through "Traffic Taus" and CEO of Rapid Metro helped people to cross the road at Shanker Chowk.
