Urbanization, Corporate culture and modernization have changed the landscapes of the earth and the sky. High-rise multi-storied buildings, and life in boxed houses in metropolitan cities have deprived us to look at the sky. We are totally into a new life style without having time to look at the sky. We rarely gaze ay the stars at night.
IN THIS context, the night of February 24 was exceptionally wonderful. I was amazed to see the rare phenomena in the evening when I looked at the sky. It was an unforgettable moment. Three planets namely the Venus, the Jupiter and the Moon were shining clearly like three precious jewels in the sky.
It was an enchanting phenomena of celestial bodies that occurred after 11 years. I have never come across this type of beautiful scenario in my life. My curiosity could not stop me to share this rare phenomena of the stars and the planets with my friends, relatives and near and dear ones. I wanted to capture this moment in my camera but was unable to do so due to the dazzling light in the sky.
It's sights and events like these that most of today's generation is missing out on - not realizing what they are missing. Electronic gadgets, especially television and Internet-driven computers and mobile phones have literally taken over the lives of young children and working adults. No wonder they don't have the time or the inclination to take out time to witness such magnificent sights, which remind us of the dazzling Universe, of which we are but a tiny, tiny part.
