RANDY ORTON reportedly dislocated his right shoulder during his match with Edge on Sunday night at Over The Limit. The injury occurred during the match between Orton and Edge. Randy Orton told the referee he was hurt and the match came to an impromptu ending a few minutes later when both wrestlers were counted out of the ring after Edge missed a spear and crashed into the barricade.
RAW Superstar Randy Orton during the match last night against Edge, he was slapping and pounding the mat with his hands as he typically does when he is set to hit the RKO, which looked like it was going to be the match-ending move, but during the pounding on the mat, Orton stopped abruptly and began holding his shoulder as his right arm had gone completely limp and his shoulder had a purple discoloration to it.
The referee threw up the "X" signal which indicates a real injury and the match rolled out to the outside of the ring. Both Edge and Orton did their best to continue the match but Orton was not able to do continue because of his pain. Randy Orton has already dealt with several shoulder injuries during his wrestling career. In June 2008 he also broke his collarbone during a Last Man Standing match against Triple H.
