Re-conduct Physics paper of Class XII: SRS asks Govt
J&K State President, Shri Ram Sena, Rajiv Mahajan criticised the State Government especially Bharataiya Janata Party for harassing the students fraternity of Jammu division.
Addressing a press conference here on Monday, Rajiv Mahajan said, "While the students and people of Jammu district are already facing the problems and discrimination at various levels under BJP leadership, the future of the students has further been put to halt by the unilateral decision of Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) conducting the Physics papers of Class XII which according to students was out of pattern."

Condemning the brutal attack on Class XII students day before yesterday at Rehari Chungi area, Rajiv Mahajan criticised the State Government for adopting dual policy in Jammu and Kashmir State.

He said on one side the government brutally attacked innocent students of class 12th who were peacefully protesting for their rights in Jammu and on the other it reward compensation and government jobs to stone pelters in the Kashmir Valley.

He said how strange that Jammu regional leadership cannot forge unity on issues of Jammuites and BJP leaders are unable to rise above party politics and personal likes and dislikes and speak in unison in favour of the people of the Jammu region.

"It has been a cause of concern to the parents of the students," he said, adding the State Government should issue specific directions to the concerned department to provide relief to the students and their parents.

"The issue requires to be addressed immediately by the Education Minister by asking JKBOSE to re-conduct the Physic paper," he said adding that, in absence of the immediate decision, the future of lot of students of Jammu District can come to halt.

He warned the government that if it fails to resolve the students' issue at the earliest, Shri Ram Sena along with students and their parents would intensify the agitation.
