Real tribute to Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his soil
I was informed that Shaheed Capt. Deepak's birthday is coming on 3rd July. I got the proper occasion to execute the thing which was in my mind for a long time. I actually wanted to bring the soil from parental village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.
CAPTAIN DEEPAK Sharma laid down his precious life in the service of the country on 04th March, 2010. It was a operation against dreaded terrorists of Hijbul Mujahidden. Before laying down his life he killed three terrorists of Hizbul Mujahidden.

I was informed that Shaheed Capt. Deepak’s birthday is coming on 3rd July. I got the proper occasion to execute the thing which was in my mind for a long time. I actually wanted to bring the soil from parental village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh. But I was waiting for an occasion which is in the honour of some great Martyr. The birthday of Shaheed Capt. Deepak Sharma was the suitable occasion. It was my heartfelt desire to start a new trend of bringing soil from the Village of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

This is a way to salute, honour and thank to that great soil. And this way we can give message to every martyr that we have not forgotten them and the new generation of India is not thank less.
I would also like to relate one forgotten hero, Kranti Kumar an associate of Shaheed Bhagat Singh.

The sand of time covered his personality. But could not hide his great job he did for his mother land. Kranti Kumar was the person, who was taking bullets hidden in the sauce (CHATNI) for Shaheed Bhagat Singh, who was in Lahore Jail. Kranti kumar was arrested in the very famous case ‘Bullet in the sause” 1930 . He was tortured in the Shahi Quilla Lahore with chilli’s smoke and he became partially blind. His photo adorns the museum at Khatkar Kalan.

Unfortunate in our country, Vinay Kumar Son of Kranti Kumar used to wash utensils at a wine shop. He is fifty year old. I read this news in a leading news paper. The news was published with his photograph washing utensils. The name of the colony is Kranti Nagar where this wine shop is situated in Panipat (Haryana). This colony is in the name of Kranti Kumar. I took him with me and settled with my younger brother Nakul at Delhi.

When I went to Panipat I met his sister named Urvashi Devi. We discussed about their father till 12 PM. After that I was in regular touch with this family. The heartfelt desire of Urvashi Devi was to see the photo of her father in museum at Khatkar Kalan. I wanted her to take to this great place. It was her desire for last more than 30 years. She is 70+ now.

I decided to move to Khatkar Kalan on 2nd July of 2010 along with Urvashi Devi. We four people Pankaj, Vinod, Sunil and I left from Rohtak and we picked  Urvashi Devi from Panipat. Her legs were in pain due to old age.

Khatakar kalan is situated between Navan Shahar and Banga in Hoshiyarpur Distt around 180 kms from Ambala. We reached Khatkar Kalan around 2:30. Museum is on the road and there is a big statue of Shaheed Bhagat Singh raising his hand. We entered the museum after entering our name add in the register.

As we entered the hall Urvashi Devi spoke loudly “Mere Papa” she ran towards the photo as if she was the sixteen years old girl. She covered the photo with both hands. Tears were coming from her eyes. I could not judge type of these tears. These were of sorrow, happiness or proud or all together.

As the museum officials came to know that she was the daughter of Kranti Kumar they respected her a lot, incharge Yodh Singh co-operated with us a lot. We saw all the photograph displayed in the hall. After that we went to the village. Where we saw the ancestral home of shaheed–E-Azam. His almirah, his bed, utensils and a charkha was placed in different rooms. We had got a copper kalash (Lota) with us to bring soil from his home. Govt has developed a park with his home. We took soil from this park and started back to Rohtak. Smt Urvashi Devi Could not control her tears.

On the way we dropped Urvashi Devi at Panipat. We reached Rohtak at 11:30 Pm. Hemant Attri, Manmohan Taneja and one of their friend received us at Bye pass and took us to the double park where they have placed the statue of Shaheed Capt. Deepak Sharma. Next morning M.P. Deepender Hooda had to unveil the statue of Shaheed.

Next morning hundreds of youth gathered at Shaheed Bhagat Singh Chowk, Bhiwani stand Rohtak. Rajya Sabha M.P. Sh. Shadi Lal Batra put Tilak on Shaheed Bhagat Singh stature soil of Shaheed’s Village and flagged off the Pad Yatra.

Sh. Deepender Hooda MP Rohtak received this pad yatra at double park. He carried that Kalash of soil to the statue and put Tilak on the forehead of Capt Deepak Sharma. Every body said Shaheed Bhagat Singh, Amar Rahe, Shaheed Deepak Sharma Amar rahe.
I saw many people bring holy water from Haridwar and worship lord shiva with this water. I want to start a new trend of bringing soil or water from the villages or memorial places of Martyrs.
Every body knows when there is a problem with us or with the country God does not come himself. He sends person with his powers to tackle with. Every Martyr is the AVTAAR of God they should be worshipped.

JAAN HATHELI PAR LIYE SHARHAD PE JO KHADE HAIN
AUR DESH KI AZADI KE LIYE JO LADE HAIN
UNKE DARSHAN
BRAHMA, VISHNU AUR MAHESH SE BHI BADE HAI
