Recall rally haunts US: Toyota, Honda and latest Nissan recall

The first quarter of 2010 will be remembered as automobile recalls quarter. Started in January with Toyota, the recall epidemic spread to Honda and the latest one to raise alarm is Nissan recall.
 
The vehicles owner in United States have suffered most due to the numerous recalls. Toyota Motors recalled about 8.5 millions vehicle worldwide due to gas pedal issue, dangerous unintended acceleration and door mat issues.
 
Honda announced recall over faulty Airbags and window switch that caught fire if door was left open in rain. Honda recall affected around 379,000 vehicles due to airbag risk. Korea’s leading automaker, Hyundai recalled 515 sport-utility vehicles in the United States because of an air bag malfunction and Sonata due to front-door latches.
 
Reports say that further recalls are coming up. In March, General Motors Co is said to be recalling 1.3 million compacts due to power steering issues. The problem has been linked to more than 1,100 complaints, including 14 crashes and one injury.

 
And the latest one is Nissan recall. The automaker announced recalling 539,864 trucks, minivans and sport-utility vehicles for problems with disengaging brake pedals and inaccurate fuel gauges.
 
With the world's biggest automakers pressing panic buttons, people are running like headless chicken in USA since many have already lost their lives or nearly escaped some very serious accidents.
