Red Corner Notices against Saeed, Lakhvi issued
Attempts of the Indian investigating agencies to bring the perpetrators of Mumbai attacks received a major boost on Tuesday after Interpol issued Red Corner Notices against LeT chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi for their roles orchestra
IN A major boost for India's attempts to bring the perpetrators of the Mumbai terror masterminds to book, the Interpol on Tuesday night issued a Red Corner Notices against LeT chief Hafiz Muhammad Saeed and Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi.

The Red Corner Notices (RCN) have been issued in the wake of non-bailable warrants issued by a Mumbai Court against the duo in connection with the Mumbai terror attacks. Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) had approached the international police agency to issue RCNs against Saeed and Lakhvi, while the agency has also submitted evidences against Zarar Shah and Abu Al Qama for their role in planning, organising and executing the attacks in Mumbai.

Warrants against Saeed and 22 other suspects were issued by Special Judge M L Tahaliyani on June 23. He had asked the Mumbai police and the CBI to get them executed through the Interpol.

India has accused Saeed of providing training and logistics to the ten Mumbai attackers at various training centres of Lashkar-e-Taiba in Pakistan and Pakistant occupied Kashmir.
