'20 CHILDREN won't have their first kiss. 20 children will not be trying to catch a glimpse of Santa Claus this Christmas. 20 children won't know what it feels like to graduate. 20 children won't know how it feels to have their heartbroken and become better after it. 20 children won't go to prom. 20 children will never get married one day. 20 children will not be able to sneak out of bed to stay up late. 20 children won't know what it feels like to be accepted to college. 20 children won't know how it feels to turn 21 with their friends. 20 children will never be able to have children of their own. 20 children will never know how they made all of us realize that we take life for granted.' EVERYONE IS trying to make some sense of a situation that makes no sense and Twitter is going crazy with stories, anecdotes and pictures of all the 28 people killed in Connecticut on Friday. Sitting so many thousands miles away, I felt shattered as I saw a note that a little boy, Brian, left his mom during A lock-down stating that he would love her in heaven.

While one can only imagine the pain, parents who have actually lost a child in Connecticut would receive counseling. Stating the same Kate Bartley Tweeted, “Our live updates from Newtown, CT start at 8am. Very emotional day. Counseling starts in 30 mins for students & community members.” People are feeling shocked, angry and trying to word their feelings through Twitter.

Talking about the easy gun laws of the country another tweeple tweeted, “Societies have deeply troubled & alienated young men but in most countries these misfits don’t have easy access to guns.” Another person lashed out at the government in a sarcastic tweet, “Gay marriage is apparently illegal but possessing assault weapons is not.Pathetic.#Connecticut

The loss of innocent lives from New England have bonded a society in grief. Anyone reading this should know that our hearts are with the people who have lost someone in the shooting and everyone is praying for them. You have not lost a person but gained an angel!
