Reports of UFO spotting in Eastern China
The mysterious object was observed glowing on the radar screen and officials at the airtraffic control could not identify the same, leading to panic.
AN AIRPORT in East China had to stop operations suddenly late Wednesday, when the air traffic controllers spotted an Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) on their radars. A number of flights were diverted and planes were not allowed to take off from Xiaoshan airport in Hangzhou City in eastern China.

The mysterious object was observed glowing on the radar screen and officials at the airtraffic control could not identify the same, leading to panic. Similar glowing objects were witnessed in the sky by the citizens in Hangzhou and referred to these as comet like fireballs.

To prevent any untoward incident, the airport officials immediately stopped the boarding of passengers and many planes that had taken off were diverted to neighbouring airports Ningbo and Wuxi.

An investigation has been launched into the incident but officials said that there was nothing to be scared about as this could be a routine phenomenon of sunlight reflection.
