Rich Cho has been named as the new General Manager for Portland Trail Blazers. However, no financial terms of the deal have been known. Paul Allen, the team owner said, 'Rich Cho joins us as one of the new generation of general managers in the NBA.'

Rich Cho has been named as the new General Manager for Portland Trail Blazers. However, no financial terms of the deal have been known. Paul Allen, the team owner said, "Rich Cho joins us as one of the new generation of general managers in the NBA." He added that they were all impressed with the depth and breadth of Cho's skill set and are sure that under his leadership their great organization will be more successful.

Rich Cho had spend the past 9 seasons as assistant GM of the Seattle Supersonics/Oklahoma City Thunder and played an important roel in constructing trades, contact negotiations, salary cap and collective bargaining agreement matters, contacts of players and all personnel issues.

Larry Miller, team president said, "Rich is the perfect fit for our organization. He has the right balance of basketball knowledge, business acumen and tremendous people skills. Rich will be a great fit for our organization and is an executive on the rise."

Rich Cho, a graduate from Washington State University said he was quite thrilled to be joining the Blazers.
