JOHN EDWARDS’ sex tape controversy has just got uglier. Rielle Hunter, the former mistress of the two-timing Edwards, has got a court order demanding Edwards aide Andrew Young to hand over the personal videotapes and photos to her.
Hunter got a restraining order on Thursday that claims the videotapes and photos are very “private and personal" and hence must be handed over back to her.
The court order has posed trouble for Andrew Young who –in his new book, "The Politician" has described how he and his wife found the sex tape made by Hunter and Edwards. Andrew Young, seemingly disappointed with the court order said that Hunter could have easily evaded the media glare because the tape shows only Edwards in the middle of a "sexual encounter," but the woman in the tape is harder to identify. He however admitted that the woman was visibly pregnant and is seen wearing a thumb ring similar to one that Hunter frequently wears. Young refused to hand over the tapes and photos to the police on Thursday, reported sources. The controversy involving the former U.S. Senator and American actress Rielle Hunter came to light comes after Edwards admitted to fathering a child with her. Edwards and his wife of 32 years, the cancer-stricken Elizabeth Edwards have separated after the news broke.
