BOCA RATON, Fla. – ROBB & STUCKY Interiors has been commissioned to complete the interior design of a model at 200 East, a new luxury condominium in downtown Boca Raton. The Robb & Stucky design team of Interior Designer Rene Evans and Judi Laengle, IDS will direct the project.
The Mediterranean enclave is made up of condominiums, penthouses and town homes. The epitome of true urban living, 200 East’s prestigious location is amid world-class shopping (eg Mizner Park), dining and entertainment options (eg Mizner Park Amphitheater, Boca Raton Museum of the Arts) – all within walking distance. The beautiful Atlantic Ocean is only a bridge away. Situated next door to the renowned Boca Raton Resort & Club, the building also boasts 24-hour professional concierge and valet parking services, an elegant clubroom, a state-of-the-art fitness center, a full-size pool and Jacuzzi surrounded by a lushly landscaped deck, and upscale, ground level boutiques. III Forks, a contemporary steakhouse out of Dallas and Austin, Texas with a sophisticated wine collection and club-like ambiance, will be the cornerstone of the ground floor tenants.
"200 East has a South Beach type of energy," said Lon Tabatchnick, president of The Lojeta Group, the developer responsible for 200 East. "It’s social, lifestyle living – the perfect location for someone who craves options. This walk able community offers the best of downtown Boca."
Attracting active residents who want every luxury and convenience, the community begins closing on residences in January 2009. Two-thirds of the residences have already sold. They feature sizeable floor plans, SMART panels for home automation, large terraces with decorative railings, beautiful vistas, energy-saving, hurricane-rated windows, designer Italian marble in the bathrooms, and custom cabinets and granite counter tops in the kitchens.
"We’re seeing many buyers from the West Boca area making the golf course community to downtown move," said Tabatchnick. "They are moving out of their larger, country club homes into something just as fitting for their lifestyle, but with less upkeep and more at their fingertips."
The model designed by Robb & Stucky Interiors designers is a split floor plan with three bedrooms (one designed to function as an office), and three and one-half baths. The relaxed, yet high-quality décor features natural, highly textured materials such as grass cloth, leather, wicker and linen that is supplemented by eclectic accessories and detailed crown-moulding for a casually elegant look. The major furnishings in the model are mostly from the Robbie Collection, a Robb & Stucky Interiors original design. The distressed finishes and neutral colour scheme of cream, cocoa, camel and chocolate add to the warm, inviting environment.
