Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year movie is all set to release on December 11, 2009. The story is all about those people who get boderline marks and have no option but to join the world of sales.

Rocket Singh - Salesman of the Year movie is all set to release on December 11, 2009. The movie has been produced by Yash Raj Films and directed by Shimit Amin. Salim Merchant and Sulaiman Merchant has provided music to the film. Jaipdeep Sahni has taken care of the lyrics. The movie stars Ranbir Kapoor, Shazahm Padamse, Gauhar Khan, Sharon Prabhakar and Prem Chopra.

Rocket Singh the Salesman of the Year movie is about a guy called Harpreeet Singh Bedi (Ranbir Kapoor) who has just graduated but has passed with very less marks, which are quite embarassing. But such a low score does not stop Rocket Singh from dreaming big and his journey starts which is full of adventure, excitment and comedy.

Harpreet jumps into the sales line which he believes in a super cool areeer for all smart people who are not able to get into medical engineering or business fields. It has everything that he dreams off. A smooth dressing, selling ice to an Eskimo, dreams to an insomniac and also sellinng a life time mobile conenction to a dying man. Very soon his ideas clash with professionals and bosses he looked up to.

The story is all about those people who get boderline marks and have no option but to join the world of sales.

In real life too, Ranbir is half sikh as his maternal grandparents were Sikh.

Ranbir said that his maternal grandmother was very excited and thrilled as he was playing the role of a Sardar. He added that after doing Rocket Singh he has started respecting the Sardars more because of the sacrifices they have made and the discpline they have in their religion. Lastly he said that it is not easy to keep a beard and tie a turban in warm countries and really respects them as they have it for their religion and not for their comfort.

Ranbir Believes that Pocket mein Rocket will become every salesman's anthem.
Rocket Singh is indeed a Singh in King in the sales world.

The Movie Rocket Singh has also been selected to be screened at the 6th edition of the Dubai International Film Festival (DIFF).

.Yes, this movie seems to be worth-watching. For me, it seems to be an inspirational movie for the people who score 40, 50, 60 per cent and think they are losers.
