On the first day of the World Book Fair 2013, Rockstand launched India's first-ever regional eBook collection for its readers at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi on February 4th. This addition in regional content will encourage more people to read eBooks while on the move.

World Wide media, Vishwa Books, V & S Publishers, Aleekh Publishers and many more. Furthermore, the company is talking with more than 3000 educational institutes including schools in Delhi / NCR to promote their digital library at Rockstand.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Praveen Rajpal, Founder & Director, RockASAP Retail Pvt. Ltd said, “We have always strived to give innovative features to our readers ever since we have launched Rockstand. This is so because, we know that it’s the readers’ experience that matters which then ensures that reader creates a habit rather than just a onetime read. Hence to create this habit of reading books on your mobile or tabs we have added regional content today. This content alone will entice readers in Tier 2 and 3 cities as well as readers who are in look out for regional content like Hindi, Gujrati, Marathi etc as they will now have an access to all these books on our platform-Rockstand. In total we are introducing regional content in 18 languages today.”
Mr. Rajpal further added, “Another very unique feature of Rockstand is the ability to read book offline, with this feature readers don’t have to be online while reading. Moreover, Rockstand is creating a niche offering of comics and hence a way of giving our readers to live their childhood days again with Chacha Chowdhry, Sabu, Pinki etc.”
The occasion also witnessed many youngsters who had particularly come to submit their entries for “My First Book at Rockstand contest”. The contest is all about to awaken the writers in “you”. Rockstand, through this contest, will give an opportunity to such professionals as well as budding writers who can now put themselves on test. Rockstand gives the option to the contestants to either write a short story or a complete book and the winner’s piece/ book will then get published and released by Rockstand on its platform.
The first day even witnessed many school children along with teachers trying out the eBook app. Rockstand is very first eBook and eMagazine application on mobile & tablet platforms in India. It is supported by multiple platforms’ like Android, IOS, Windows (Blackberry, Symbian and others are coming soon).
