Rockstar Bryan Adams ready to rock Delhi
Bryan Adams, will be featuring in a live concert in Delhi on February 15, for which Delhiites have already marked up their calenders. The stage, which is, NSIC grounds, Okhla is all set, the rockstar, himself is ready and so is the people of Delhi.
DELHI IS all ready for another concert in February. Last time Delhi went on a musical ride of rock and jazz was in the year 2005, when Sting came. After that, there was no such big event and Delhiites were left musically perplexed and annoyed. Akon for sure came and made Delhi to dance to his tunes but, it was just a small potato compared to what Mumbai and Bangalore got in the form of Aerosmith, Beyonce, Shakira and Black Eyed Peas in the year 2007. It was said, that the less number of concerts was a result of the issue of large number of complimentary tickets.

Leaving all this behind, Delhi and NCR are all set to host a series of major international music concerts. On the 15th of this month Delhi has its date with the Prince of Baritone, the rockstar, Bryan Adams. He is on a world tour and is on the road for over 150 days.

His India visit, which will be his fourth time, is also a part of his world tour.

This 51 year old rockstar has spanned more than three decades in this career. His first album was released in August 1980, which was titled on his name. He is a keen musician and has won around 20 Juno Awards, and also the awards such as MTV awards and American Music Award. He has been nominated, several times, for the great Grammy Award too. Other than playing music and writing songs, he is a keen photographer too.

He has a foundation too- The Bryan Adams Foundation- which aims at advance education of children and young people worldwide and also aims at giving them those opportunities which they lack due to many reasons.

This King of Eternal Teenage Musings, is all set to ‘Run to You’ as he is going to be ’18 Till He Die’ because ‘Its Only The Love’ of ‘Somebody’ that helped him to beat the ‘Summer of ‘69’. It is the aura of his music and songs that keeps us all bound to him. He will be touring four cities in India namely, Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Bangalore and then he will be rocking Bangladesh with his tunes. It is said that his concert in Bangladesh will be for the opening ceremony of the ICC World Cup. He will also be launching his new album ‘Bare Bones’ at the end of this year of which he will show the glimpse at these concerts.

It is being said that so far Delhi has outsold every city on the Indian tour, which means that delhiites have tremendous spending power for good music shows. Delhi, which disappeared from the itineraries of the major rock stars, will now have an affirmation to return back to the global tour circuit once again with the concert of Bryan Adams.

All this settles it all. The stage, which is, NSIC grounds, Okhla, is all set, the rockstar, himself is ready and so are the people of Delhi. In short, now is the time to welcome the heart of the nation, back on the map of international music which will come with the bang, in the form of the musical night with Bryan Adams. So, let us all buckle up our shoes for a head boggling musical night ahead..!
