Rohit Vemula's suicide: Arvind Kejriwal demands apology from PM Modi, Rahul Gandhi to visit Hyderabad
Looks politicisation of Hyderabad Dalit student Rohit Vemula's suicide has started with Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal accusing the BJP government for the suicide and demanding apology from PM Narendra Modi. Meanwhile Congress Vice President Rahul Gandhi is also going to visit the University of Hyderabad today.
Arvind Kejriwal targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi today on Twitter and demanded for an apology from Prime Minister over the involvement of Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya in the case as an accused. Notable the minister is accused of playing role in the suicide and interfering in the university.

Rahul Gandhi who is visiting the University is accompanied by party general secretary Digvijay Singh. They will meet the students of the university and will talk to them regarding the suicide of the Dalit student, as his suicide has sparked a massive protest in the University.

Commenting on Rahul Gandhi's visit to Hyderabad, Thaawarchand Gehlot, Union Minister for Social Justice and empowerment said, "Politics should not be played in such cases. The ministry is gathering information regarding this case, justice will be done," as reported by ANI.

Asaduddin Owaisi, president of AIMIM condemned the attitude of the concerned ministers and the government over the issue and said:

The death of the Dalit student which took place on Sunday has ignited protests all over Hyderabad. The incident has taken a political turn with a police case against Union minister Bandaru Dattatreya, who is accused of aiding the suicide with a letter he had written to the HRD ministry.
