Romaine Lettuce recall 2010, buying salad can be dangerous
The Food and Drug administration has reported that reported that 19 cases have been reported as of now. Out of which three people are in critical condition. The bacteria can be dangerous for the kids and the old people.
FRESHWAY FOODS has recalled its products that contain romaine lettuce. The products that have use-by date of May 12 have been recalled from 23 states. The products are said to contain harmful bacteria that can cause E.Coli 0145.
Consumers have bee alerted not to buy salad that are available in the stores or bars at Kroger, Giant Eagle, Ingles Markets and Marsh stores. The romaine lettuce of Freshway Foods is the only salad product that has been hit while other companies had no effect in their sales. Freshway Foods with the recall of romaine lettuce 2010 is the is trying its best to overcome with the problem of the bacteria that was found in an unopened bag of shredded lettuce in New York.
