MORE TROUBLE is looming large for footballer Wayne Rooney after allegations surfaced about his alleged sexcapades with a 21-year old sex worker. The scandal has put his personal life as well as his place in the team for the upcoming European Champions League qualifier in jeopardy.

England being one of the most favoured teams started their Euro 2012 qualifiers with handsome wins, but Rooney's participation in the match against Switzerland on Tuesday has put coach Fabio Capello in a dilemma.

Although reports suggest that Rooney might be included in the team, Capello wants him to be in the best of psychological condition so that his performance does not get affected. The Manchester United striker had shown extraordinary performance when he scored three goals in England's 4-0 win against Bulgaria on Friday on the home turf. The reports emerging on Sunday had accused him of frequenting a prostitute called Jenny Thompson while his wife was still pregnant with their first child.

As per grapevine, Rooney started seeing Jenny in June 2009 and he met her last in Manchester in October 2009, months before his son Kai was born. The footballer is also accused of inviting Jenny to the family's $7.6 million mansion in Cheshire.

The news has certainly put the team officials on high alert and Capello will be monitoring Rooney's state of mind until Tuesday night when the kick off takes place. Rooney was seen hanging out with the team on Sunday and it is expected that he might fly with the rest of the team to Basle on Monday morning. It is also being said that if he feels the need of getting back to England he will be permitted to do so.
