Rotary Public School celebrates 'Juvenilia 2012'
The students of Rotary Public School gave away thrilling performances as the school celebrated its annual function, 'Juvenilia 2012', which was attended by a large number of Rotarians, VIPs and parents.
SPEAKING ON the occasion, Miss Gulshan Dewan, principal of the school recalled the school’s achievements, took stock of the readiness for the future and shared with all a glimpse of hopes and aspirations. She also underlined the achievements of Divya Yadav, the school’s Korfball champion, Anjali, the school’s swimming sensation and Payal Jain, 'expert of breaths and school's 'yoga champion'.
The Chief Guest Shekhar Mehta appreciated the efforts of the school to make the evening a grand success and also praised the noble works of the Rotarians for providing free and concessional education to the economically weaker sections of the society.
The school’s Vice-Principal Mr. R.S. Gogna, Mrs. Anu Giridharan, TGT Science and Mrs. Sharda Juneja PRT Hindi were also rewarded for serving school for 25 years.
In the two-hour-long cultural evening, many performances presented thrill and skill through entertaining dances, orchestra and music. The music programme ‘Green Sonata’ gave everyone an idea of living peacefully in nature without destructing and disturbing the natural balance and was appreciated by all.
The Ballet ‘Abhiudaya – A Quest’(Mahabharata Based), and the Grand Finale Le-Melange (A blend of National & International dance forms) were the star attraction in an event. Through their skills students left a stunning mark on the faces of the present guests.
