As part of the celebrations, the organisation will be holding blood donation camps, ‘Taare Zamein Par’ drawing contest and sports meet for underprivileged children, distribution of blankets and fund donation to blind school, chairman of WRT 92 Adarsh informed here at a press meet on Tuesday (November 10).

The motto of WRT 92 was to serve the community, he added. Highlighting the activities of the organisation during the past two decades, Adarsh said that WRT 92 had constructed schools at places like Tarluwada near Anandapuram, Madhruwada, Gudilova, Kothavalasa, Bheemunipatnam, Relli Veedhi, Kasimkota, opposite Vuda Park and a school-cum-rehabilitation centre for the physically challenged people at Zilla Parishad junction.

WRT-92 also contributed in creating awareness about AIDS, organising dental and medical camps in association with Navayuga Engineering and CV Atchutrao Trust in Vizag and Vizianagaram, providing drinking water facilities in rural areas of Vizag.

WRT 92 secretary P Rajesh said that the organisation had been serving the society as part of its long-term national project called ‘Freedom Through Education’. Vice chairman G Pavan Kumar were present at the meeting.
