RSS annual meeting to be held in Coimbatore from March 19-21
The Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh's (RSS) crucial annual meeting, Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS), the highest body for policy formulation and decision making will be held between March 19-21, 2017 at Sri Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

RSS sarsanghchalak Mohan Bhagwat and sar karyavah (General Secretary) Shri Suresh Bhaiyya ji Joshi will chair the three day proceedings. Elected representatives of RSS, state level office bearers of RSS, national office bearers of the Sangh and its inspired organizations will attend all the three days of the meeting.

The results of Assembly elections in five states and forthcoming Presidential elections are likely to come up for discussion at the meeting. Major issues worrying RSS include Maoists violence in Kerala against its cadre, communal politics of West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Benerjee, tension mounting on borders, attacks on Indians in US and other crucial national issues are likely to be discussed.

Activities of all the organizations (to name a few- Seva Bharati, Samskrita Bharati, SAKSHAM, Kreeda Bharti, Vidya Bharati, ABVP, BJP, BMS etc) will be submitted in the meeting. State wise activities of RSS will be reviewed. Important national issues, social issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed in the meeting. More than 1,500 participants from different walks of life will be participating in the meeting.
