RSS executive to meet in Chennai from Nov 2

The three-day Akhil Bharatiya Karyakarini Mandal (All India Executive Council-ABKM) of Rastreeya Swayam Sevak Sangh (RSS) begins in Chennai on November 2.

DR. MANMOHAN Vaidya (Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh), the head of RSS Media Relations said that the Sanghachalak (President), Karyavah (Secretary) and Pracharak (Organizing secretary) representing Prant (state units) of RSS (41 Pranths / State units from all over India will take part in this ABKM that meets twice every year.

Apart from these state-level functionaries, the participants numbering 400 will include prominent karyakartas from social organizations working in different spheres of life. He further added that the meeting will seek to understand the persent activities of RSS.

The meet will discuss illegal immigration from Bangladesh and the threat it poses for the local people by illegal Bangladeshi nationals. The recently proposed Land Acquisition Bill, which involves taking away lands of tribals for development of industries etc., will also be discussed in detail.

Dr Manmohan Vaidya said that the RSS intends to pass these two resolutions. Sarkaryawah Bhaiyyaji Joshi will address a press meeting in Chennai at the concluding day on 4th November, 2012.
