THE MYSTERY and drama connected with the horrible Ruchika Girhotra molestation case continues without break, the sensational case is taking new twist with every passing day. In the latest development chief of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) has alleged lack of support from Ruchika’s family in the probe.
Inspector General-Security S S Kapoor heading the seven member probe team constituted to investigate various criminal charges against former DGP SPS Rathore had said that the team’s work is getting delayed as father of Ruchika Girhotra, SC Girhotra and her brother Ashu are not cooperating with the investigation team. "We had sent many notices and reminders to Ruchika's father SC Girhotra and her brother Ashu, but they have neither approached us nor came to our office till date”.

On the other hand complainant in the case Anand Prakash raised questions against the SIT probe, when asked to comment on the allegations of the SIT.
The teenaged girl Ruchika was allegedly molested in the year 1990 by former DGP Rathore and three years later in the year 1993, she committed suicide owing to intimidation and harassment of her family from Rathore.
