Rugged data communications tester from GAO
Leading provider of telecom instruments testers, GAO Instruments, recently launched of the new data communication tester. The new tester is used to carry out both framed and unframed tests on equipment such as primary multiplexers and circuits
GAO INSTRUMENTS Inc has released its compact and light-weight data communication tester (GAOCE5009), a multi-purpose tester designed for the creation, maintenance and trouble-shooting of digital networks. It is used to carry out both framed and unframed tests on various equipment such as primary multiplexers, digital cross connects, automatic protection switching and circuits operating at speeds between 50bit/s and 2048kbit/s.
This optimised data communications tester integrates four data interfaces and G.703 Co-dir 64kbit/s and G.703-2Mkbit/s interfaces, while providing an error analysis function featuring display of histograms for errors or alarms. In addition, test measurement results can be stored to on-board memory and accommodations for future interfaces have been considered.
